#### Touching the Flower – A Monoprint/Collage Workshop Brimming with Creativity

Udaipur: Amidst the lush greenery and the fragrant aroma of flowers and foliage, Art Junction Residency, Bardanga, hosted a unique and inspiring art workshop titled “Touching the Flower” on Saturday, led by renowned Lithuanian artist Zidrija Janušaite. This creative session offered an extraordinary opportunity for interaction between imagination and nature, not only for art enthusiasts but also for children from nearby villages and participants from the city.

During the workshop, participants explored the monotype printing technique, witnessing a magical fusion of leaves, flowers, colors, and lines. Every print emerged as a singular, one-of-a-kind creation – truly “an art of touch.” Attendees engaged in creating collages and prints using leaves and flowers, designed artworks inspired by floral motifs and vases, and discovered fresh ways to experiment with color.

Every Print Tells Its Own Story:

A special highlight of the workshop was that all art materials were provided on-site, allowing participants to immerse themselves fully in creativity and joy. The vibrant colors and floral fragrances in the air further fueled the imagination of every participant. Artist Zidrija Janušaite remarked, “This is an art of touch, where each print tells its own story.”

Chiman Dangi, Director of Art Junction, announced that given the workshop’s success, another session would be held on Sunday, offering new participants the chance to join.

The event was organized in collaboration with the Lithuanian Cultural Council (Lietuvos Kultūros Taryba) and Art Junction Residency. At the conclusion of the session, participants took home their colorful, nature-inspired artworks – a beautiful memento of a memorable day.
