Painting Competition on ‘Developed India’ Organized as Part of Seva Parv 2025

Udaipur – Under the guidance of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, the West Zone Cultural Centre, Udaipur, organized a painting competition on the theme “Colors of a Developed India” at St. Anthony Senior Secondary School, Balicha, on Thursday as part of Seva Parv 2025.

Furqan Khan, Director of the West Zone Cultural Centre, Udaipur, stated that painting competitions on the theme of a developed India are being held across the country as part of Seva Parv. On this occasion, the competition at St. Anthony Senior Secondary School encouraged students to express their vision of a developed India through art.

The closing ceremony was attended by distinguished guests including Dr. Shobhalal Audichya, Senior Ayurvedic Medical Officer, Udaipur; Dr. Meena Baya, Retired Principal of Meera Girls College; and Dr. Omprakash Soni Bijauliya. Addressing the students, Dr. Audichya praised their work, stating that their creativity reflects the imagination of a developed India and emphasized that India is progressing in all fields. He also highlighted the importance of integrating art into education while preserving traditional art forms.

Continuing the initiative, a painting competition for professional artists will be held at Shilpgram on September 27, along with another event at Meera Girls College.

The program was attended by Hemant Mehta, Program Executive of the West Zone Cultural Centre; Sunil Nimawat, Program Assistant; Vice Principal of St. Anthony Senior Secondary School, Siddhant D’Souza; and art teacher Snehlata Chauhan, among others.
