DPS Udaipur Cricketers Selected for National Team

Udaipur – Cricket players from Delhi Public School (DPS), Udaipur, have showcased exceptional talent and skill at the CBSE-organized Under-19 West Zone Cricket Trials, securing top positions. According to the school’s cricket coach, Shubham Parihar, the trials were held among a total of 600 players from three states: Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat.

In this highly competitive event, DPS Udaipur’s Statevardhan Singh Chundawat and Shravan Devasis won gold medals, while Parakram Singh secured the silver medal, establishing their top positions in the competition and earning the opportunity to represent Rajasthan and the West Zone. Following this achievement, Statevardhan Singh and Shravan Devasis have been selected for the CBSE National Cricket Team. They are the only two students from the Udaipur division to achieve this honor.

Their success is a result of rigorous training, discipline, and strong determination. On this occasion, DPS Udaipur’s Pro Vice Chairman, Govind Agrawal, stated that these students have the potential to represent the country in the future. Principal Sanjay Narwariya and Vice Principal Rajesh Dhabhai congratulated the players and their parents, extending their best wishes for continued success.
