Udaipur. At the ITF Masters Tennis Tournament (ITF-200) held in Jaipur from 22nd to 26th September, Udaipur’s Western India player Dr. Dipankar Chakraborty showcased a remarkable performance by winning the doubles title.
In the final, the pair of Dr. Dipankar Chakraborty and Delhi’s Pawan Jain defeated the duo of Anil Sachdeva and G. Ramchandani 6-3, 7-6 to secure the championship.
Dr. Dipankar also reached the singles final, where he had to settle for the runner-up position after a close contest, losing 7-5, 6-4 to Pawan Jain.
It is noteworthy that both Dr. Dipankar Chakraborty and Pawan Jain have represented India internationally in the 60+ age category.
