#### Grand Celebration of World Pharmacist Day at Geetanjali Institute of Pharmacy
Udaipur: Geetanjali Institute of Pharmacy, Geetanjali University, celebrated World Pharmacist Day on 25th September with great zeal and enthusiasm. The day’s celebrations began with an awareness rally, where students actively participated to promote the importance of pharmacists in healthcare. The rally concluded with a powerful street play, highlighting the safe use of medicines and the crucial role pharmacists play in society.
The program was graced by Dr. Rakesh Vyas, Vice-Chancellor of Geetanjali University, Mr. Anil K. Vyas, Managing Director of MedNext Pharma Pvt. Ltd., and Dr. M.S. Rathore, Principal of Geetanjali Institute of Pharmacy. They appreciated and encouraged students for their active participation and efforts in promoting pharmacy awareness.
During the event, Dr. Rathore gave an insightful session on the significance of Pharmacovigilance and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR), emphasizing the responsibility of pharmacists in ensuring patient safety and effective healthcare.
The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Chetan Malviya, Dr. Aradhya Upadhyay, and Dr. Aftab Alam, while student coordinators Aashay, Sandeep, Uday, Charvi, Sanjana, Mumoksh, and Hemendra played a key role in organizing and managing the program.
The students participated with great enthusiasm throughout the day, making the World Pharmacist Day celebration truly memorable. Furthermore, the Executive Director and Vice President of Geetanjali Group extended congratulatory messages to all pharmacists associated with the college and hospital, recognizing their invaluable contribution to healthcare services.
