#### Pacific University Empowers 55 Girls with Scholarships
Udaipur: Pacific University organized a seminar to connect students, especially girls, with higher education opportunities and provide information about the Azim Premji Foundation Scholarship Program. During the seminar, 55 female students were registered for the scholarship program. A live demo was conducted to guide them through the registration process. Under this scheme, students who complete their 10th and 12th grades from government schools and then enroll in college are eligible for an annual scholarship of ₹30,000.
Prof. Hemant Kothari, Vice-Chancellor of Pacific University, highlighted that many talented girls in South Rajasthan discontinue their graduation due to financial constraints. The Azim Premji Foundation Scholarship aims to support such students. Pacific University has always emphasized education for girls, offering free or scholarship-supported undergraduate education since its inception. The seminar provided practical guidance on registration and the scholarship process.
Mr. Vishnu Joshi, Program Coordinator of Azim Premji Foundation, appreciated Pacific University’s initiative to raise awareness among students. He added that girls who have passed 10th and 12th from government schools can register for the scholarship online by 30th September to receive ₹30,000 annually during their graduation.
