#### Pharmacovigilance Week Celebrated at GMCH Udaipur
Awareness programs highlighted drug safety and ADR reporting
Udaipur. The Department of Pharmacology at Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Udaipur, successfully organized Pharmacovigilance Week. The theme for this year was “Your Safety, Just a Click Away: Report to PvPI.”
Throughout the week, various activities were conducted to raise awareness about the importance of reporting Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) and to promote patient safety. Highlights included a poster competition coordinated by Dr. Chetan Jani, an awareness lecture for nursing students and staff by Dr. Sakshi Singh, and a special lecture for pharmacy students delivered by Dr. Neena Katoch. Additionally, a street play was presented by the 2020 batch of interns under the coordination of Dr. Dwit Vora, aimed at spreading awareness on pharmacovigilance.
Dean Dr. Sangeeta Gupta distributed prizes and certificates to the participants. The event concluded successfully under the guidance of Dr. Arvind Yadav, Professor and Head, Department of Pharmacology, GMCH Udaipur.
