Seva Parv 2025: Colors of Viksit Bharat with Art

Udaipur. Under the joint aegis of the Ministry of Culture (Government of India), West Zone Cultural Centre Udaipur, District Administration Chittorgarh, Tourism Department, Archaeological Survey of India Jodhpur Circle (Chittorgarh Fort), Government Museum Chittorgarh, Hindustan Zinc Limited, Sanskar Bharati Chittorgarh Unit, and Chittorgarh Art Society, a painting competition was organized on Monday at the Government Museum, Fateh Prakash Mahal, Chittorgarh Fort, as part of the program “Colors of Viksit Bharat with Art”.

Inauguration with Lighting of the Lamp

West Zone Cultural Centre Udaipur Director Furkan Khan informed that as per the directives of the Ministry of Culture, the competition was based on the theme “Viksit Bharat.” The program was inaugurated by Member of Parliament Shri Chandraprakash Joshi with lamp lighting at Ganesh Hall. Selected artworks from various academic institutions were exhibited, alongside a special exhibition curated by the Government Museum, Fateh Prakash Mahal, on the theme of a developed India.

Students and Artists Painted at Fateh Prakash Mahal

Nodal Officer and District Tourism Officer Vivek Joshi stated that students from art schools and colleges worked on their creations in the courtyard of Fateh Prakash Mahal.

Ten-Foot Rangoli a Major Attraction

A ten-foot rangoli, created by Abhay Munshi of Sanskar Bharati depicting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s portrait, drew special attention from the guests.

Towards a World Record Attempt

Convener Dr. Mukesh Kumar Sharma shared that “Colors of Viksit Bharat with Art” is being developed into a world record attempt, connecting every state, district, and village from September 17 to October 2, 2025. Initiated by District Collector Alok Ranjan, the festival also showcased artworks from villages, symbolizing India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation by 2047.

More than Thirty Artists Participate

Artists from Sawai Madhopur, Udaipur, and Bhilwara contributed original creations in their unique styles on the theme of Viksit Bharat.

From Six to Sixty: Diverse Participation

Senior artists including Prahlad Das Vaishnav, Bhavna Prajapati, Dilip Joshi, Tanmay Sharma, Pranjal Soni, Utkarsh Kumawat, Hemant Salvi, Gaurav Kumawat, Gaurav Sharma, Jeetu, Sangeet Sharma, Priyanka, Priyanka Sharma, Ajay Mishra, Rajni Goswami, Preeti Ajmera, Madhu Maliwal, Ranveer Singh Ranawat, Siddham Sharma, Abhinav Sharma, Radhika, and Vijay Soni participated enthusiastically, alongside children as young as six years.

The program was graced by West Zone Cultural Centre Deputy Director (Programs) Pawan Amaravat, Program Executive Hemant Mehta, Program Assistant Sunil Nimavat, Mewar University Art & Culture Director General Chitralekha, Tourism Officer Vivek Joshi, ASI Superintendent (Udaipur Circle) Himanshu Rajawat, Museum President Gulshan Kumar Meena, CBSE City Coordinator Rekha Yadav, and artist Vijay Kumawat from Sawai Madhopur, among others.
