Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot Visits Dungarpur and Banswara

 

Former Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot arrived at Maharana Pratap Airport, Dungarpur, this morning, where he was warmly welcomed by Congress workers.

Pankaj Kumar Sharma, General Secretary and spokesperson of Rajasthan Congress, felicitated Gehlot by presenting him with a traditional Mewari turban and a tricolor thread garland. Former ministers Arjun Bamania, Surendra Singh Jadawat, Sandeep Chaudhary, Dharmendra Singh Rathore, MLA Pushkar Dangi, former minister Mangilal Garasiya, city Congress president Fateh Singh Rathore, and Dehat District Congress president Kachru Lal Chaudhary, among several other Congress leaders, were also present.

After the welcome, Gehlot proceeded directly from the airport to the Circuit House. Later in the afternoon, he visited Maharana Bhupal Government Hospital, where he met a victim from Banswara admitted there, inquired about her condition, and instructed the administration to take strict action.

At the hospital, Gehlot was accompanied by former ministers Arjun Bamania, Surendra Singh Jadawat, Sandeep Chaudhary, Dharmendra Singh Rathore, former cabinet minister Ramlal Jat, Pankaj Kumar Sharma, MP Pratyakshi Tarachand Meena, MLA Pushkar Dangi, Sitaram Lamba, Pawan Godara, city Congress president Fateh Singh Rathore, Dehat District Congress president Kachru Lal Chaudhary, and several other Congress workers including Saddam Hussain, Shankar Chandel, and Sanjay Mandwani.

After the hospital visit, Gehlot departed by road for Sagwara, where he is scheduled to pay tribute at the memorial of the late mother of AICC member Dinesh Khodnia.
