District-Level School Lawn Tennis Competition Held in Dhar
Udaipur: The 69th District-Level School Lawn Tennis Competition was held today at Government Higher Secondary School, Dhar, featuring intense matches across various categories.
According to co-coordinator Shankar Lal Dangi, in the girls’ team events for the 17-year age group, St. Mary’s Fatehpura secured first place, Scholar Arena came second, and Heritage Senior Secondary School took third. In the 19-year category, Heritage Senior Secondary School won first place, followed by Government Higher Secondary School, Ukhar, Shishvi in second, and Government Higher Secondary School, Dhar in third. In the singles category, Aisha Bandhla and Vaishvi Meena reached the finals in the 17-year group, while Shaivi Patel and Purvika Panchloria competed in the 19-year finals.
Before the boys’ matches commenced, local international lacrosse players Mohanlal Gameti and Khumaram Gameti, PEEO Dhar Dr. Satya Narayan Suthar, observer Bhavna Batra, and principals Hemlata Porwal, Aruna Meena, Vandana Salvi, and Bheru Singh Rathore met the players and offered guidance. The boys’ matches continued until late evening, concluding a day of competitive and spirited tennis.
