SOUTHERN COMMAND HOSTS BORDER DISTRICT MILITARY-CIVIL FUSION SEMINAR
Jaipur, Konark Corps conducted 'Southern Command Border District Military-Civil Fusion Seminar' from 01 September 2025 to 12 September 2025 at Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Barmer, to reinforce synergy between all stake holders in Nation Building as well as towards achieving a coherent response to an OP SINDOOR like situation in future. The initiative aimed at a Whole-of-Nation Approach to build stronger frameworks of cooperation for border districts of Rajasthan through focused deliberations and sharing of best practices.
Some of the key issues deliberated upon included Border Area Development, Convergence of Efforts and Enhancing Security. All stakeholders agreed that infrastructure in border regions is essential to enhance community well-being while simultaneously providing critical enablers for military operations. The importance of coordination was stressed upon by all participants to ensure efficient use of resources, timely response mechanism and collective problem-solving. All officials concurred that road connectivity plays a vital role in ensuring swift communication, driving the development of border areas as well as maintaining operational readiness.
The seminar concluded with enhanced coordination and collaboration between military and other stakeholders, to align developmental efforts with national security imperatives for a secure and resilient nation.
