Glimpses of Gujarat’s art, culture, cuisine, and traditions to be showcased
Udaipur, September The charm of Gujarat’s culture, art, cuisine, and traditions is set to captivate the hearts of Udaipur’s residents as the Vibrant Gujarat Cultural Program 2025 is being organized on 14th September at the Field Club premises. The grand event is being hosted by the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Limited (TCGL) for the first time in Udaipur.
The program will be inaugurated by Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, with Gujarat Tourism Minister Mulubhai Bera attending as the guest of honor. Preparations and security arrangements have been completed to ensure a smooth and memorable celebration.
Cultural bond between Gujarat and Rajasthan
According to Hirendra Dabi, Assistant General Manager, TCGL, the event is being organized under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ to strengthen the cultural bond between Gujarat and Rajasthan while promoting the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. The festival will showcase a unique blend of music, dance, and traditions. Entry will be completely free on a first-come, first-served basis.
Key attractions of the evening
The program will commence at 7:30 pm with a 30-minute performance of traditional Gujarati folk dances, including Talwar Raas, Gof Gunthan, and Maniyaro Raas, alongside Rajasthan’s vibrant Ghoomar dance. These performances will depict valor, joy, and the essence of Gujarat’s rich cultural heritage.
Following this, renowned playback singer Parthiv Gohil will enthrall the audience with mesmerizing renditions of Gujarat’s traditional folk songs.
Exciting prizes for participants
Attractive prizes will also be presented during the celebrations. Shopping vouchers worth up to ₹5,000 will be awarded to winners in the Best Traditional Costume category (men, women, and children). In addition, prizes will be offered for Best Performances (solo, duo, group, and children) as well as for the Best Reel Uploads on social media.
Taste of authentic Gujarati cuisine
To add more delight, stalls featuring authentic Gujarati delicacies will be set up at the venue, allowing visitors to relish the state’s traditional flavors.
