Jaipur : Reliance Jio has connected over 10 lakh premises in Rajasthan with Fixed Wireless & Wireline high-speed broadband and world class home entertainment services, by rapidly expanding its JioAirFiber and JioFiber services across the state. According to the latest Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) subscriber data report released for the month of July 2025, Reliance Jio has 3.63 lakh 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) subscribers in the state as of July 31, 2025, and it dominates the segment with a huge market share of 75.6 per cent in Rajasthan. While its competitor, a distant second, lags far behind with 1.16 lakh subscribers. In addition, 6.52 lakh subscribers are connected with JioFiber and UBR-based JioAirFiber across Rajasthan. With this, Jio's home broadband subscribers base in Rajasthan has reached a total of 10.15 lakh. Home entertainment has become a big part of life these days and Jio’s set-top box, a digital gateway, has driven record engagement, with Indian viewers on an average watching over 5 hours daily which is more than double the global average. Through the Jio set-top box, users can access multiple OTT apps, live TV, gaming, and JioPC — a cloud-based virtual desktop — all delivered via JioAirFiber and JioFiber. JioAirFiber and JioFiber services are available in all 41 districts, including towns and thousands of villages and remote areas of the state, thereby promoting digital inclusion in the state. The rapid adoption of JioAirFiber in Rajasthan, especially in rural areas, reinforces the increasing demand for reliable high-speed broadband internet access in rural Rajasthan, given that JioAirFiber overcomes the challenges of last-mile connectivity by offering a wireless, broadband service where traditional fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) deployment is difficult. JioAirFiber provides an opportunity to TV or broadband users to upgrade to a world-class home entertainment, broadband and digital experience, delivered through one integrated service.
