Grand Opening of Four International Film Festivals in Jaipur from Thursday – Awards Announced for AICFF and 16IFF 2025

Jaipur – The Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) and Aryan Roj Foundation are set to organize four major film festivals over two days, August 28 and 29. The festivals include the 8th Aryan International Children’s Film Festival of Jaipur (AICFF) 2025, the 10th Sixteen International Film Festivals (16IFF) 2025, the launching edition of Culture & Tourism Film Festival (CTFF), and the World Student Film Festival (WSFF). Screenings will be held simultaneously at Ryan International School (VT Road), Dolphin High School (Pratap Nagar), Vardhman International School (Mansarovar), and Gyan Vihar School (Malviya Nagar) on Thursday and Friday.

·         Best Animation FeatureHola Frida (France) directed by Andre Kadi

·         Best Documentary FeatureThe Divine Hustle (India) directed by Sonali Rajkumar Dewanani

·         Best Feature FictionAbout People About War (Russia) directed by Dmitry Pasichnyuk

Films to be Screened on Opening Day (Thursday)

Baahubali: Crown of Blood Season 1 – Episode 6, Where I Begin, Dead Drop, Before the Dawn, Linger, Redemption, The Yellow File, Symbound, Behind the Smile, Jhuthan, Thank You Zindagi, Legend of Hanuman, Jaipur as a Culture Capital, Bhel, Dandelion’s Girl, Bridge, Dream, Dokeeyu, Memory Rental Store, Beyond the Crux, The Bleeding Tide, Barbie Doll, Falter, and many more. These films span across categories such as Animation Short, Feature Fiction, Feature Short, and Documentary Feature. In addition to Indian films, entries come from France, UK, Japan, Serbia, and other countries in multiple languages.

 

2–7 Minute Filmmaking Competition

In addition, JIFF is organizing the 2 to 7 Minute Filmmaking Competition, which has received 42 entries from students representing 29 schools and 9 colleges across India. A total of 38 films will be screened. These short films, created by students from Gurugram, Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Amritsar, Ahmedabad, and other cities, focus on themes of art, culture, and contemporary issues. The award ceremony and certificate distribution for this competition will be held in October this year.
