501 Lamps Lit at Mahakal Mahaarti; Udaipur Animal Protection Society Pledges Animal Care
Udaipur, A grand Mahakal Mahaarti and Animal Service Programme was organized today at Mahakal Temple, Ambamata, by the Animal Protection Society, Udaipur. Alongside the traditional rituals, the event emphasized compassion towards animals and birds.
Highlights of the programme included the Mahaarti of Lord Mahakal, offering of bhog and anggi, and feeding of cows, stray dogs, and pigeons. The temple premises shone brightly as 501 lamps were lit in devotion.
Speaking on the occasion, Society President Dr. Mala Mattha said:
“The worship of Mahakal is truly complete only when we care for His creations—animals and birds.”
Prominent members present included Kiran Bhawsar, Shaily Srivastava, Arjun Jain, Rukmani Jain, Vijay Jain, Anjana Duggad, Vandana Sharma, Mohit Sharma, Ketan Jain, Dr. K. D. Mahatma, Mrs. Kailash Ji, and Mrs. Chandra Jain.
