Guest House Extension Block Foundation at MPUAT

Udaipur, The foundation stone of a modern extension block at the Guest House of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), Udaipur, was laid today by the Vice Chancellor, Dr. Ajit Kumar Karnataka. On this occasion, Director of Research Dr. Arvind Verma, Director of Extension Education Dr. R.L. Soni, Director of Resident Instruction and Dean, College of Fisheries Dr. Ram Avatar Kaushik, Land & Estate Officer Shri Ranveer Shekhawat, Guest House In-charge Dr. Subhash Meena, Manager Shri Sudhir Sadhwani, Shri Gopal Meena, and officials from the Estate Office, Shri R.K. Babel and Shri Devaraj Singh, along with several officers and staff, were present.

One crore sanctioned for construction
The university has received a grant of ₹1 crore from the Government of Rajasthan for this project. With this fund, eight new air-conditioned guest rooms will be constructed. In addition, the existing rooms of the Guest House will be renovated and equipped with necessary modern facilities.

Enhanced capacity and facilities
Upon completion of the construction, the Guest House will have a total of 34 rooms, including four VVIP rooms, all fully air-conditioned.

Vice Chancellor’s remarks
On the occasion, Vice Chancellor Dr. Karnataka stated, “With the completion of this development project, the university’s Guest House will be equipped with top-class facilities. Situated in the heart of Udaipur city, it will prove highly useful and convenient for guests attending national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops.”
