Jaipur, Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani has said that if there is Sanatan then we are there and if there is no Sanatan then we will not be there either. He called upon the migrant Rajasthanis to stay connected to their roots, this Rajasthan is ours.
Devnani was addressing the Goenka Recognition Samman ceremony given to the unsung heroes who bring positive change at the grassroots level in Fatehpur Shekhawati on Friday. He inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the lamp.
Devnani said that this tradition of honour organised by Goenka Trust is recognising those personalities who have become a source of inspiration for the society by making excellent contributions in their respective fields. This honour is not only for the individuals but also for their values. He gave awards to the heroes of Goenka community who have done excellent work in the fields of business, social service, art, science, sports, education, literature, health etc. On reaching the function, Devnani was felicitated by garlanding him with a huge flower garland and draping him with a shawl.

Devnani said that the Goenka family has taken Shekhawati land forward. He said that one should never forget one's birthplace. Those who go away from their roots cannot remain green. Wherever we live, this Rajasthan is ours. Business is a part of life. Whenever one gets time, one should work for one's birthplace through service. This is our culture and social responsibility. Shri Devnani said that this land of Rajasthan has given tales of valour, the voice of saints and loyalty to traders. The Goenka family has taken forward the rich tradition of this land of Shekhawati.

While congratulating the Goenka family and the entire organising committee, Devnani said that this function is a celebration of culture. Also, this Goenka Sangam is a bridge connecting generations. This tradition will be a source of inspiration and energy for the coming generations. This tradition of service, enterprise and culture will give a new direction to social service and human welfare. He said that there is life in liveliness too. Distortions will be resolved by values. Society is not made only by buildings and roads, for that human values, service and traditions have to be kept alive.

Assembly Speaker Shri Vasudev Devnani visited Salasar Dham on Friday and visited Shri Balaji. Shri Devnani prayed in the temple and wished for the prosperity of the country and the state. On reaching the temple, the managers welcomed Shri Devnani by putting a scarf and garland on him and presenting a memento.
