Jaipur. The third day of Udaan-2025, the orientation programme at Apex University, was dedicated to women empowerment. The special guest, Retired Wing Commander Vandana Choudhary, graced the occasion and praised the title “Udaan”, describing it as a true symbol of students’ flight towards their dreams.
In her inspiring address, she urged the students never to fear failure, as failure only teaches and ultimately leads to victory. She emphasized the importance of taking risks, stating that only those who dare to take risks become winners. While speaking about Operation Sindoor, she described it as a perfectly planned mission. She further advised the students to stay away from fake news and to always trust the armed forces guarding the borders, who risk their lives for the nation’s safety.
As the programme progressed, a national-level panel discussion on “Innovation and Startup Ecosystem” was organized in collaboration with the Institution Innovation Council and the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME).
The keynote speaker was Mahavir Pratap Sharma, Founding Chair of TiE India Angels and Member of the Global Board of Trustees of TiE. He encouraged the students by saying that today’s youth have limitless potential, and with the right vision and direction, they can establish their identity at the global stage.
Experts shared their experiences, highlighting how innovation and determination can transform an idea into a successful startup. They also underlined that women, being natural multitaskers, should step forward in the startup ecosystem, and clarified the misconception that Artificial Intelligence can completely replace human intelligence.
Following the panel discussion, an engaging ice-breaking session was conducted for the new students to build interaction and comfort among themselves.
The day concluded with an entertaining band performance, which not only energized the students but also inspired their creativity and imagination.
Director of Apex University, Vedanshu Juniwal, remarked that this year’s orientation programme turned out to be a unique blend of knowledge, experience, innovation, and entertainment, creating a positive and energetic atmosphere for the new students.
