Bhilwara. Sangam University commenced its three-day mega orientation program “Deeksharambh 2025” for newly admitted first-year students with grandeur at the Town Hall, Bhilwara. The event marked the beginning of an inspiring journey for the freshers, blending academic insights, motivational sessions, and cultural performances.
Warm Welcome to the New Students
The inaugural day began with a traditional welcome of the freshers followed by the University’s kul-geet. Present on the occasion were Sangam Group Chairman Shri Rampal Soni, Board Member Ms. Palak Modani, Vice Chancellor Prof. Karunesh Saxena, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Manas Ranjan Panigrahi, Registrar Alok Kumar, special guest Dr. Anurag Srivastava, IAS officer Akshat Kumar Singh, Bhilwara SDM, and other dignitaries.
In his opening address, Vice Chancellor Prof. Karunesh Saxena welcomed the new entrants and highlighted the achievements of Sangam University. He emphasized the importance of SWOT analysis for personal growth, stressing that an individual’s “earning is embedded in his learning.” Through short motivational videos, he urged the students to believe in themselves and keep expanding their knowledge.
Inspirational Talks by Guests
Renowned speaker Dr. Anurag Srivastava captivated the jam-packed Town Hall with his motivational words. He encouraged the students to constantly upgrade themselves with new technologies, remain adaptive to changing times, and step out of their comfort zones to achieve success.
Delivering the keynote address, Chairman Shri Rampal Soni provided the freshers with his success mantras. He underlined the significance of having a mental fitness plan in life and inspired students to “think big and believe in themselves.” He also urged them to make the best use of all available resources and contribute actively to the nation-building process in the coming years.
Adding to the motivation, IAS officer Akshat Kumar Singh advised the students to identify their area of expertise early and start shaping their career paths from the beginning.
Recognitions and Awards
On this occasion, students who had excelled at the national level in sports, NCC, and other championships were felicitated. Dr. Anurag Srivastava was honored with the Corporate Icon for Youth Award for his contribution in inspiring young minds.
Cultural Evening and Student Participation
The second phase of the program witnessed vibrant cultural presentations by senior students. Performances included dance, rock band shows, and musical renditions by Ishan Sharma, Ansh, Amit Chechani, and others. The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm as freshers also shared their experiences of entering the Sangam family.
Dr. Amit Jain outlined the schedule for the next two days of orientation, while Dr. Anurag Sharma skillfully conducted the stage proceedings.
