Dr. Pushpa Khamesra’s Name Recorded in Asian Book of World Records

 

Udaipur. Dr. Pushpa Khamesra, who has earned a special place in the field of philately, has achieved yet another milestone. Out of her vast collection of more than five lakh stamps, she has created a unique compilation of nearly 14,900 stamps from 372 countries, all themed around birds. This rare collection has secured her name in the Asian Book of World Records.

Earlier too, Dr. Khamesra’s name has been included in prestigious record institutions such as the Limca Book of World Records, London Book of World Records, World Greatest Record, and Golden Book of World Records.

According to Dr. Khamesra, “Stamps are not just a medium for sending letters, they are mirrors reflecting the culture, nature, and history of the world. My aim is to pass this passion on to the younger generation while highlighting the importance of biodiversity, especially birds.”

Her remarkable achievement has not only brought glory to the field of philately but has also illuminated the name of Udaipur and India at the international level.
