Rajya Sabha MP Rajendra Gehlot met Union Home and Cooperative Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi and discussed in detail important issues related to Rajasthan

New Delhi/Jodhpur , Rajya Sabha MP Rajendra Gehlot met Union Home and Cooperative Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Tuesday and discussed in detail important issues related to Rajasthan.

MP Rajendra Gehlot said that the efforts made to prevent crimes through strict monitoring and security arrangements on the internal security and borders of a border state like Rajasthan have curbed crimes and smuggling to a great extent, yet to strengthen it further, special surveillance and advanced resources should be deployed on the sensitive western border of the country. The Union Home Minister said that the Central Government is very cautious on this issue.

MP Gehlot also discussed in detail the policies of the cooperative sector with Amit Shah. Gehlot said that under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, the cooperative movement has brought new energy and opportunities for farmers, youth and rural development. Modi Government is moving towards building a prosperous India through prosperous cooperation. Efforts are being made to make Rajasthan self-reliant and prosperous by connecting it with this campaign.

During the discussion, Shah assured to soon implement an action plan and policy to start cooperative taxis to provide cheap and accessible transport to the common man and to innovate to provide employment to the youth in the cooperative sector.
