New Delhi. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma reached New Delhi on Tuesday. He met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla at his office in Parliament House and discussed important issues related to the development of the state. Chief Minister Sharma congratulated Birla on the approval of the Union Cabinet for the development of Greenfield Airport in Kota-Bundi.
Chief Minister Sharma met several Union Ministers Kiren Rijiju, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Prahlad Joshi and Arjun Ram Meghwal, Dharmendra Pradhan, CR Patel, Jitendra Singh, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya etc. in Parliament House and held meaningful discussions with them on various issues related to Rajasthan and national interest. The Chief Minister discussed various issues related to the state in detail over dinner with the MPs of the state.
Chief Minister Sharma apprised Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan about the progress of various schemes run by the double engine government in the field of education in Rajasthan. He also urged the Union Minister to release the financial grant under the annual action plan soon. He requested Pradhan to organize a review meeting and workshop on the implementation of the new education policy in Jaipur.
Chief Minister Sharma also met Union Jal Shakti Minister Shri CR Patel ji in New Delhi and discussed in detail the progress of various important water projects including the state's ambitious Ramjal Setu Link Project (ERCP), their implementation and future action plan. He also made a courtesy call on Union Minister of State for Science and Technology and Earth Sciences (Independent Charge) and Minister of State for Personnel and Public Grievances Dr. Jitendra Singh ji and discussed with him various issues related to the civil servants of the state and the Department of Personnel and Training.
In his meeting with Union Minister of Labor and Employment and Youth Affairs and Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya ji, Chief Minister Sharma discussed in detail the preparations for Khelo India University Games-2025 to be held in Rajasthan, various aspects related to the event and topics related to the development of sports in the state. He also praised the Chief Minister Yuva Rojgar Protsahan Yojana run by the Rajasthan Government and called it a milestone in the direction of realizing the dreams of the youth.
It has been told that Chief Minister Sharma will be present in Parliament House on Wednesday on the occasion of filing the nomination papers of NDA's Vice Presidential candidate CP Radhakrishnan in New Delhi.
