Former Mewar Royal Family Attended Shri Krishna Janmashtami Festival
Udaipur, On the auspicious occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, the grand Nandotsav Mahotsav was celebrated with great devotion at the historic Shri Jagdish Temple in Udaipur on Saturday.
Members of the former Mewar royal family, including Mrs. Nivritti Kumari Mewar, Haritraj Singh Mewar, Mohalaxika Kumari Mewar, and Praneshwari Kumari Mewar, visited the temple, offered prayers, and sought blessings of Lord Shri Jagannath Swami.
The royal family attended the celebrations upon the holy invitation of the Shri Jagdish Temple Priests’ Council and Om Dharmotsav Samiti, Mewar. During the ceremony, the temple priests honored the guests with traditional Uparna and offered Ashka of Thakur Ji. The temple premises echoed with continuous chants of devotion as devotees enthusiastically raised slogans in praise of Thakur Ji.
