Make for India – Make in Udaipur: Manish Galundia
Udaipur, August 15, 2025. The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI). On this occasion, President Manish Galundia hoisted the national flag and extended greetings to all. He said that the day is not only a festival of freedom but also a reminder of our duties, responsibilities, and commitment towards nation-building.
Galundia informed that the Executive Committee has prepared a strong action plan for 2025–26. Under this, sub-committees have been formed and significant initiatives undertaken, including an interactive seminar with Principal Secretary Alok Gupta, a conference with Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria, a meeting with Delhi MP and CAIT General Secretary Praveen Khandelwal, a training program on Artificial Intelligence, as well as awareness sessions on PF, ESIC, and ESG. The UCCI portal has launched a Marketplace to promote members’ products, while efforts are also being made to strengthen the Youth Wing.
Despite global challenges, including heavy tariffs by the US, Galundia emphasized the need to focus on domestic markets, skill development, environmental protection, technology access for MSMEs, and promotion of Make in Udaipur and Make for India.
On this occasion, members took a pledge to contribute to society and the nation. Tree plantation was also carried out at the UCCI Environment Park.
