Jaipur, The 79th Independence Day was celebrated across Rajasthan with patriotic fervor and grandeur. At district headquarters, members of the Council of Ministers, Divisional Commissioners, and District Collectors unfurled the national flag, inspected parades, and took the salute at march pasts. Students presented colorful cultural programs, and the Governor’s message was read out at the ceremonies. Brave women, government employees, students, and social workers were honored for their distinguished services and achievements.
In Sri Ganganagar, District Collector Dr. Manju hoisted the flag at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Government College. Freedom fighters and their families were felicitated with shawls, and meritorious individuals were awarded certificates.
In Banswara, Collector Dr. Indrajit Yadav unfurled the tricolor at Kushalbagh ground and inspected contingents of Mewar Bhil Corps, Rajasthan Police, NCC, Scouts, and Guides.
