Independence Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm and Joy Across the District
Flag hoisting ceremonies were held at the Divisional Commissioner’s Office, Collectorate, Court premises, and various government and private offices on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day, which was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy across the district on Friday.
At the Divisional Commissioner’s Office, Divisional Commissioner Ms. Pragya Kevlramani hoisted the national flag and took the salute, with all officers and staff members present. Similarly, District Collector Namit Mehta hoisted the flag at the Government Residence and the Collectorate.
At the court premises, District and Sessions Judge as well as District Legal Services Authority Chairperson Gyan Prakash Gupta performed the flag hoisting, followed by a tree plantation drive. The event was attended by Authority Secretary ADJ Kuldeep Sharma, judicial officers, and staff members of the Udaipur headquarters.
At the State Institute of Hotel Management, a joint venture of the Government of India and Government of Rajasthan, Principal C.P. Meghwal hoisted the flag in the presence of institute staff and students.
