Udaipur, The 79th anniversary of India’s independence was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at the office of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh. The event was presided over by senior citizen Shankarlal Ji, with Chittor Province Co-Karyawah of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Deepak Ji Shukla, and Bharatiya Kisan Sangh Rajasthan State Seed In-charge, Dr. Rajendra Babu Dubey, present as chief guests.
The ceremony commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by the guests, followed by the singing of the national anthem. Tributes were paid to freedom fighters who dedicated their lives to the nation’s independence.
In his address, Dr. Dubey discussed in detail the importance of the Swadeshi movement and organic farming. The adverse effects of genetically modified crops were highlighted, describing them as contrary to the interests of farmers. Chief Guest Deepak Ji Shukla stated that “Akhand Bharat is not merely an imagination but a vision that must be realised collectively,” emphasising the unity of Indian culture and its future direction.
District Organisation Minister Kapil Dev Ji expressed that what has been gained must not be lost, and what has been lost must be remembered and reclaimed. He described Akhand Bharat not merely as a geographical boundary but as a symbol of Indian culture, civilisation, and the Sanatan way of life.
The program was conducted by Advocate Bharat Kumawat, District Minister. The occasion was attended by several dignitaries, including Chittor Province Organisation Minister Parmanand Ji Bhai Saheb, Division Minister Keshav Ji Porwal, Udaipur Division Women’s Head Sharda Ji Kalal, Udaipur District Vice President Manak Ji Chaubisa, District Treasurer Rajendra Ji Tailor, District Co-Minister Dr. Bhavendra Ji Tiwari, District Women’s Head Parvati Ji Menaria, District Legal Head Bhawar Singh Ji Rathore, Metropolitan President Dilip Ji Lohar, Metropolitan Vice President Lalit Ji Paliwal, along with other members and workers.
