Hindustan Zinc Driving Holistic Growth in Rampura Agucha Region – MLA Jabbar Singh Sankhla

 

Rampura Agucha, Asind – Hindustan Zinc has been credited not only for creating employment opportunities and CSR-driven development but also for enriching local communities. This was highlighted by Asind MLA Jabbar Singh Sankhla during the inauguration of development works worth more than ₹6.5 crore carried out in Rampura Agucha and surrounding areas.

Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, Mr. Sankhla stated that such infrastructure projects, built with the highest quality standards by Hindustan Zinc, are commendable. He praised the company’s efforts in contributing to the socio-economic progress of the communities around the Rampura Agucha mine, noting that the mine has become a source of both livelihood and community enrichment.

Under its CSR programme Samadhan and other social development initiatives, Hindustan Zinc inaugurated multiple infrastructure and community development projects aimed at improving the living standards of local residents. These include a cattle fodder unit at Mulji ka Kheda, a newly constructed community centre at Rampura, and the redevelopment of Agucha Chauraha with a bus stand and CC road. Additional works include three new classrooms at Agucha Girls’ School, a community centre under the mine workers’ welfare fund, two classrooms, boys’ and girls’ toilets, and a tin prayer shed at Bherukheda-1 School. In Devpura, a 750-metre-long CC road and a classroom at the primary school were built, while Kotdi village received a 2.5-kilometre gravel road.

The inauguration ceremony saw the presence of MLA Jabbar Singh Sankhla, Rampura Agucha Mine Cluster IBU CEO Ram Murari, Agucha Sarpanch Mrs. Jyoti Nagar, social worker Jitendra Nagar, Hurda Block CBO Ashalata, Deputy Head CSR Abhay Gautam, Head Admin & External Relations Abhimanyu Ranawat, Security Head Ajay Sharma, Mine Workers’ Union General Secretary M.K. Sani, and Hemraj Choudhary.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ram Murari reiterated Hindustan Zinc’s commitment to sustainable development, quality education, sanitation, healthcare, and livelihood enhancement, adding that these newly inaugurated projects are a testament to that commitment.
