The event marked a significant step toward encouraging the use of eco-friendly technologies in everyday life.
Former club president Nayana Jain, while addressing the students, emphasized the need to adopt such green technologies.
“Solar cookers not only help save energy but also offer a healthy way to cook food. We must incorporate such tools into our lifestyle to protect our environment,” she said.
The event featured a special session by Dr. Manju Jain, popularly known as the “Solar Woman,” who gave a detailed demonstration of how the solar cooker works. Even sweets like laddoos, kheer, and lapsi can be prepared effortlessly. She emphasized its benefits for working women and farmers, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas.
Active members Asha Shrimali and Bela Vyas of the club also contributed significantly to the success of the event with their presence and support.
