### Madan Rathore and PP Chaudhary Honoured with Sansad Ratna Award

New Delhi – At a prestigious award ceremony organized by the Prime Point Foundation at Maharashtra Sadan in New Delhi, Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju felicitated 17 Members of Parliament for their exceptional contributions to India’s parliamentary democracy.

Among the awardees were Madan Rathore, BJP State President from Rajasthan and Rajya Sabha MP, and PP Chaudhary, MP from Pali and Chairman of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on One Nation One Election.

The winners were selected by a jury headed by former Union Minister Hansraj Ahir. Notably, permanent parliamentary committees on Finance and Agriculture were also recognized at the event.

The Sansad Ratna Awards, established by the renowned parliamentary research institution Prime Point Foundation with the blessings of former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, are presented annually to acknowledge MPs who demonstrate active participation and leadership in Parliament.

Madan Rathore: Honoured for Rajya Sabha Overall Contribution

Madan Rathore was awarded in the “Overall Rajya Sabha” category for his impactful presence and consistent participation during sessions, including debates, questions, public interest petitions, and efforts to raise development and social issues affecting the common citizen. The award is a recognition of his dedication to voicing public concerns on the national platform.

PP Chaudhary: Third-Time Sansad Ratna Awardee

Pali MP PP Chaudhary received the Sansad Ratna Award for the third time, this time in the “Questions” category. He was previously awarded in 2015 for his overall contributions (debates, questions, and private member bills) and was recognized as the top performer in debates. In 2016, he received the award in the “Debates” category.

The event was attended by senior MPs, policymakers, social activists, and members of the media from across the country.

Following the ceremony, Madan Rathore stated, “This honour is a result of my service to the people of Rajasthan. I will continue to work for the welfare of the public and the nation. This award inspires me to take on my responsibilities with even greater dedication.”

PP Chaudhary, in turn, dedicated the award to the people of his Lok Sabha constituency and his party workers, affirming his commitment to represent public interests diligently.
