Excise Department Welcomes Priyanka Veerwal as New Accounts Officer

Udaipur: Achieving a government job is a dream shared by many—rich or poor—but what truly matters is hard work and perseverance. A shining example of this truth is Priyanka Bansiwal (Veerwal), a resident of Savina in Udaipur, who continued to pursue her education and career even after marriage. With unwavering dedication and determination, she has made her family proud by officially taking charge as an Accounts Officer in the Excise Department of Udaipur.

Priyanka Veerwal had earlier secured a place on the district merit list in her 12th grade. In 2014, she completed her Engineering in Electronics and Communication, and in 2015, she began her government career as a Tax Assistant in the Commercial Taxes Department. She also cleared the RAS examination in 2018, but due to unforeseen circumstances, she couldn’t secure a final appointment at the time.

Despite the setbacks, Priyanka never gave up. After getting married, she spent two years managing her household responsibilities, but her focus on academics never wavered. With consistent support from her family—including her mother Smt. Leela Devi, husband Rajesh (an employee in the Electricity Department), uncle Ashok Veerwal, and aunt Smt. Anita Veerwal, a well-known social worker—she continued to prepare for competitive exams.

Her uncle Ashok Veerwal played a crucial role in motivating her and standing by her throughout her journey. In 2021, Priyanka cleared the RAS examination once again, this time while taking care of her six-month-old child. Today, she has officially joined as the Accounts Officer in the Udaipur Excise Department, marking a significant milestone in her inspiring journey of resilience and achievement.

Her story is not just a tale of professional success, but a tribute to the spirit of determination, the importance of family support, and the belief that motherhood and career can go hand-in-hand with the right mindset and perseverance.
