### Experts at Geetanjali Hospital Highlight Health Risks of Excessive Screen Time and Offer Practical Solutions

Udaipur: A two-day public awareness seminar jointly organized by Geetanjali Hospital and Rotary Meera, Udaipur witnessed an insightful discussion on the increasing health challenges posed by prolonged screen time in the digital age. Expert doctors from Geetanjali Hospital shared vital information about the physical and psychological impacts of extended exposure to digital screens.

Senior CTVS Surgeon Dr. Sanjay Gandhi emphasized that "prolonged use of mobile phones and digital screens not only harms the eyes but also affects the brain, heart, and mental well-being. It is emerging as a major cause of high blood pressure, cardiovascular issues, stress, and sleep disorders."

Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Dr. Madhubala Chauhan pointed out that "excessive screen time among women is leading to hormonal imbalances, irregular menstrual cycles, and fertility-related issues. For today’s working women, maintaining digital balance has become essential."

Adding to this, Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Dr. Divya Chaudhary highlighted that "spending too much time on screens is contributing to rising cases of depression, anxiety, insomnia, and stress among women, particularly during pregnancy. This can significantly impact mental health." She recommended digital detox, daily routines, yoga, and healthy communication with family as effective ways to maintain emotional stability.

Through this initiative, Geetanjali Hospital reaffirms its commitment to promoting better health awareness in society, marking this seminar as a significant step towards a healthier future.
