Udaipur : SS Innovations, the maker of India’s first and only home-grown surgical robotic system, SSI Mantra, today flagged off the SSI MantraM “Made in India” Surgical Robot Yatra from its headquarters in Gurugram. The roadshow was ceremoniously inaugurated by Shri Rao Narbir Singh, Hon’ble Minister for Industries & Commerce, Government of Haryana. With the launch of the SSI MantraM Surgical Robot Yatra, India embarks on a transformative journey in healthcare, unveiling its first mobile robotic surgery training and demonstration unit. This innovative “telesurgery-on-wheels” initiative brings cutting-edge surgical technology and skill-building opportunities directly to hospitals and healthcare professionals across the country.
Speaking on the flag-off of MantraM “Made in India” Surgical Robot Yatra, Dr. Sudhir Srivastava, Founder Chairman & CEO of SS Innovations, said, “SSI MantraM is more than just a mobile robotic training and demonstration unit, it is a national movement to democratise and decentralise access to world-class surgical education and innovation. At present, the roadshow serves as a first-hand exposure platform, offering doctors and healthcare professionals an opportunity to engage directly with the SSI Mantra system through live demonstrations, hands-on training, and interactive sessions. As part of its first leg through Rajasthan, the SSI MantraM Yatra will commence on July 3&4 at SMS Medical College, Jaipur, featuring live demonstrations and interactive training sessions for both the medical fraternity. Later in the afternoon on July 4th , the MantraM will move to AIIMS Jodhpur, the yatra will participate in the RUFCON until July 6th. On the July 6th evening, proceed to Mathura Das Mathur Medical College for more sessions on July 7. The Rajasthan leg will conclude on July 8 with a final showcase at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Ajmer, before returning to Gurugram.
