Preparatory Meeting for Divisional Congress Workers’ Conference Concludes

Udaipur |  A preparatory meeting was held today by the Udaipur Rural District Congress Committee ahead of the upcoming Divisional Congress Workers’ Conference, scheduled for July 4 in Udaipur, as per the directives of the Pradesh Congress Committee.

District Congress Spokesperson Dr. Sanjeev Rajpurohit stated that following the meeting, District Congress President Kachru Lal Chaudhary informed the media that all state, district, block, mandal office bearers, their executives, and booth-level BLAs from Udaipur City, Udaipur Rural, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, and Banswara districts are mandatorily required to attend the conference. Coordination has already been completed with all district presidents, and discussions with local MLAs and candidates have been held to ensure full participation.

Chaudhary emphasized that any officer unable to attend must provide a valid reason to the District Congress Committee. Absentees without just cause will be reported to the Pradesh Congress Office. A target has been set to bring at least 250 office bearers from each assembly segment under Udaipur Rural to the conference. Additionally, efforts are being made to ensure representation from each panchayat and ward, so that after the event, workers can carry the PCC's directives back to their respective areas—strengthening the party ahead of the upcoming local body elections.

Chaudhary also announced that similar programs will be organized at block and mandal levels to strengthen the Congress at the booth level. Heads of frontal organizations, departments, and cells have also been assigned the target of ensuring maximum participation.
