Doctors' Day Celebrated at PMCH with Cake-Cutting Ceremony
Doctors appreciated for their dedication and service to society
Udaipur, On the occasion of National Doctors' Day, a heartfelt celebration was organized at Pacific Medical College & Hospital (PMCH). Doctors, hospital administrators, nursing staff, and medical students gathered enthusiastically, marking the day by cutting a cake and extending warm wishes to each other.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Prakash Audichya, Head of the Department of Anesthesiology, highlighted this year’s theme: “Who heals the healer: The masked doctor?” He explained that while doctors often appear cheerful, they too carry emotional burdens and face personal challenges. Despite their tireless service to others, they often neglect their own mental and physical health.
Dr. Hanumant Singh Rathore, Urologist, added that doctors not only treat physical ailments but also play a crucial role in strengthening patients emotionally. He commended the selfless dedication with which doctors served during the global COVID-19 pandemic.
During the event, the PMCH administration expressed gratitude to all doctors, affirming their trust in the continued commitment and integrity of the medical community in serving society.
