New Delhi. In a significant step towards reshaping India's tourism landscape, Dr. Lalit K. Panwar, retired IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre, delivered an impactful presentation on tourism development during a meeting of the NITI Aayog held on Tuesday. Dr. Panwar, specially nominated as an advisor by the Government of India, shared his comprehensive insights and long-standing experience in the tourism sector.
During his address, Dr. Panwar emphasized that tourism can act as a powerful catalyst for socio-economic and cultural transformation in the country. He highlighted that promoting tourism would not only boost cultural exchange and national pride but also create vast employment opportunities, contributing significantly to economic prosperity.
The meeting was presided over by retired IAS officer Rajiv Gauba, currently serving as a member of NITI Aayog. Joint Secretary Rajiv Thakur also attended the session.
