Tears of Joy as Ancestral Land Returned
In a heart-touching case at the Royda Gram Panchayat camp under Sayra Panchayat Samiti, 80-year-old farmer Shankariya, son of Sawa, finally received justice after years of land-related dispute. Due to an error during land segregation, his rightful 1/2 share of land was mistakenly recorded as only 1/4. At the camp, Shankariya pleaded his case before officials. Sub-Divisional Officer Shubham Bhaisare (IAS) and Tehsildar Suresh Mehta, recognizing the seriousness of the matter, instructed the revenue team for on-the-spot document verification. Within minutes, the error was confirmed and corrected. His rightful share was re-entered into the records, restoring both his land and faith in the system. His glowing eyes and joyful smile reflected the relief of reclaiming his ancestral rights.
Ownership Rights Granted After 40 Years
Another inspiring story unfolded at the camp held in Tirol. Khemaram Gameti, son of Kaluram Gameti from Bansliya village, had been waiting for over 40 years to obtain ownership rights over his modest house. Despite years of effort, he could not secure a residential lease. On learning about the camp, he submitted an application. Taking immediate action, Camp In-charge and Block Development Officer Mahip Singh Jagawat approved the lease under Rule 157(1). As the long-awaited "Bapi Patta" was handed over, Khemaram became emotional with gratitude.
