272 Units of Blood Collected at Donation Camp

 

Udaipur:A grand blood donation camp was organized on Sunday by Shri Sunderlal Jain (Vagrecha) Charitable Trust at Everest Hotel & Resort, Bhuwana. Alongside blood donation, free health consultations and check-ups for diabetes, blood pressure, hemoglobin levels, physiotherapy, yoga, and Ayurveda were also provided by experienced medical professionals.

Chief Trustee Akash (Jain) Vagrecha informed that the camp is held every year in the memory of Shri Sunderlal Jain (Vagrecha), where family members and friends of the Vagrecha family honor his legacy through the noble act of blood donation. This marks the 21st consecutive year of organizing the camp. A significant number of women also participated and contributed wholeheartedly.

A total of 272 units of blood were collected with the support of the blood donation units of Maharana Bhupal Hospital and Saral Blood Bank, Bhupalpura.

The event was graced by many dignitaries including Chandigarh Administrator and Governor Gulabchand Kataria, social worker Shivkumar Vagrecha, Vishwas Vagrecha, Aditya Vagrecha, Gokulchand Vagrecha, former BJP rural district president Chandragupt Singh Chauhan, BJP city district president Gajpal Singh Rathore, BJP rural district president Pushkar Teli, Udaipur rural MLA Phool Singh Meena, Mangilal Joshi, Chhogalal Bhoi, Congress city president Fateh Singh Rathore, Lalsingh Jhala, Saral Blood Bank manager Shyam S. Singhi, Karun Chandalya, Suresh Tated, Mahaveer Saruparia, Shantilal Chaplot, Chunnilal Garasiya, Kiran Tanted, Prema Chandalya, Rekha Saruparia, Pramod Samar, former BJP city president Ravindra Shrimali, Jagdishraj Shrimali, ward councilor Kusum Panwar, Sushma Kumawat, Geeta Patel, and many other distinguished citizens of the city.

It is noteworthy that the Trust has consistently supported the socially and economically backward sections through various welfare initiatives over the years.
