Jaipur – ACME Sikar Solar Private Limited, a subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings Limited, has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for a 300 MW solar power project in Sikar, Rajasthan. The PPA sets the electricity tariff at ₹3.05 per unit.
This agreement was signed following the official commissioning of the 300 MW project by ACME Sikar Solar on Monday. The project had been awarded earlier under the 18th Tranche of the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) by SECI, and the fixed tariff rate was formally approved by the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) on May 30, 2025.
As per the agreement, power supply from this project must commence on or before June 30, 2025. The project is also exempted from ISTS charges as its Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) falls before the government-mandated deadline of June 2025. This aligns with the Indian government's incentives to encourage timely commissioning of renewable energy projects.
With this development, ACME Solar’s total signed PPA portfolio has now reached 5,130 MW, out of which 2,890 MW is already operational, and the remaining capacity is under various stages of development. Additionally, ACME Solar holds Letters of Award (LoA) for another 1,840 MW, reflecting a robust future pipeline.
Of the total portfolio, 86% of the offtake agreements are with central government agencies, while the remaining 14% are tied to state DISCOMs (Distribution Companies).
