Soft Hockey Federation Delegation Visits Lucknow
International Tournaments Likely at Mayo Institute Campus
A delegation from the Soft Hockey Federation of India, led by Professor Amarika Singh, is currently on a visit to Lucknow. During their stay, the delegation met with prominent Gorakhpur leader Ramesh Singh and later visited the Mayo Institute of Medical Sciences in Lucknow.
The delegation reviewed the institute’s state-of-the-art medical facilities, research initiatives, and academic environment. The team expressed great appreciation for the institution's modern infrastructure and innovative atmosphere.
The visiting members included Mr. Gajendra Singh Rathore from Jaipur, Rajasthan, and national-level player Mr. Ramesh Singh. All members conveyed deep satisfaction with the facilities available on campus.
The delegation was warmly received by Mayo Medical College Registrar Mr. Arun Kumar Singh, along with senior officials Dharmendra Singh, Dhirendra Singh, and others.
Professor Amarika Singh expressed delight at the advanced medical services and resources of the institute. He emphasized that Mayo Institute is poised to become a distinguished name in both medical education and sports in Uttar Pradesh. He also revealed that national and international level sports tournaments would be organized at the campus in the near future.
The delegation shared a video message briefing about the institute’s facilities with Dr. Ashutosh Pant, National President of the Soft Hockey Federation of India, and Chairperson Mrs. Sunaina.
