With the cooperation of Shine India Foundation, the eyes of two women were donated in the Hadoti region within the last 24 hours.
Last evening, Manoj Munot, a Jyoti Mitra of the foundation, informed Dr. Kulwant Gaur about the sudden demise of Sushil Chauradia, mother of Atul and Rajeev Chauradia, residents of Mohan Nivas Colony, Station Road. Upon the request of close friend Manoj, the family consented to eye donation. With support from the foundation, the procedure was conducted at the residence in the presence of family members.
Following this, today afternoon in Baran’s New Nakoda Colony, Shanti Devi Goyal passed away unexpectedly. She was the mother of sons Rajendra and Mahendra, daughters Nirmala, Leela, and Usha. Her other sons Ashish, Arvind, and Akshat contacted Shine India Foundation in Kota through Bharat Vikas Parishad.
Upon receiving the information from Parishad Secretary and City Coordinator of the Foundation, Hitesh Khandelwal, Dr. Kulwant Gaur traveled from Kota to Baran and carried out the eye donation procedure at the residence of the deceased.
Moved by the simplicity of the donation process, all family members appreciated the noble act. Inspired by the moment, son Mahendra Kumar Goyal announced his commitment to both eye and body donation on the spot.
