Yoga camps held at Mahavir Jain School and Madhushree Auditorium with expert guidance and community participation

Over 200 Participants Celebrate International Yoga Day in Udaipur

Udaipur,On the occasion of International Yoga Day, more than 200 individuals actively took part in yoga sessions organized at two prominent venues in Udaipur – Mahavir Jain Vidyalaya and Madhushree Auditorium.


At Mahavir Jain Vidyalaya, located in Hiran Magri Sector 4, over 100 men, women, and children from Sectors 4 and 5 enthusiastically participated in a morning yoga session held from 6:30 AM onwards. Dr. Himmatlal Vaya, the founder of the institution, highlighted the physical benefits of yoga and announced the launch of free yoga sessions every Sunday. Yoga expert Aruna Chauhan led the participants through various asanas. Principal Mrs. Hemlata Jain emphasized the need for moral education along with yoga training in children. She shared that the institution has introduced a moral values curriculum alongside the academic syllabus to help inculcate virtues in students. The event concluded with a vote of thanks.

Meanwhile, at the Madhushree Auditorium, Ashoka Palace, a joint initiative of Jai Hanuman Ramcharit Manas Prachar Samiti, Sarla Devi Singhi Charitable Society, and Being Manav Sewa Sansthan brought together 101 participants for a free yoga session from 9 AM to 11 AM, conducted by renowned yoga guru Guneet Monga. Committee head Pt. Satyanarayan Chaubisa shared that Guru Monga guided attendees through various forms of yoga, including pranayama and meditation, aimed at promoting physical and mental well-being.

Chief Guests Shyam S. Singhi and Advocate Nirmal Kumar Pandit stressed the importance of regular yoga practice for disease prevention. Yoga assistants Dr. Anisha and Neha also contributed to the session. During the event, speakers Mukesh Madhwani and Rajnath Singh Chauhan discussed the harmful effects of mobile radiation and encouraged maintaining a safe distance from electronic devices.

The program was supported by a dedicated team including Dr. Vijay Singh Kachhawa, Gajendra Jain, Basanti Vaishnav, Pramod Verma, Chandraprakash Chittoda, Vivek Chaubisa, Ranjeet Singh, Harshita Chaubisa, Seema Chaubisa, Premlata Kumawat, Veena Rajgurn, and Tripti Singhi, all of whom actively participated and rendered their services during the camp.
