State-Level Yoga Ceremony to be Held in Khuhri, Jaisalmer

Jaisalmer, On the occasion of the 11th International Yoga Day, a state-level yoga ceremony will be organized on Saturday, June 21, amidst the soft, undulating sand dunes of Khuhri in Jaisalmer district. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will attend as the chief guest and perform yoga, sending out a message of good health and wellness to the public.

This is the first time such a grand state-level yoga event is being hosted on the famous tourist dunes of Khuhri. District Collector Pratap Singh informed that all administrative preparations have been completed. This year’s Yoga Day theme is “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.” The event will feature guided yoga sessions conducted by trained instructors. The Collector has appealed to public representatives, citizens, women, and youth to participate in large numbers and embrace yoga for a healthy and disease-free life.

As per the scheduled program, Chief Minister Sharma will depart from the Circuit House in Jaisalmer at 5:45 AM and arrive at the Police Line helipad. From there, he will fly to Khuhri Sand Dunes Helipad, reaching by 6:15 AM. He will participate in the yoga session at the venue until 8:30 AM.

Following the yoga event, the Chief Minister will depart from Khuhri for the Tanot Helipad. He will visit the revered Tanot Mata Temple to offer prayers and will interact with Border Security Force (BSF) personnel stationed at the site. Later, he will return to Jaisalmer and hold a public hearing at the Circuit House. The Chief Minister is scheduled to leave for Jaipur from Jaisalmer Airport at 2:00 PM.
