### Hindustan Zinc to Contribute ₹1.5 Crore for 'Vande Ganga' Programme in Rajsamand
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma Attends Event Supporting River Revival and Water Conservation
Rajsamand: Under the Government of India’s flagship ‘Vande Ganga’ initiative, a significant event was organized in Rajsamand district in the esteemed presence of Rajasthan Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma. The event witnessed the participation of government representatives, dignitaries, and other distinguished guests.
Launched under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the ‘Vande Ganga’ programme aims at reviving rivers, promoting water conservation, and adopting integrated water resource management practices across the nation.
As a part of its CSR initiatives, Hindustan Zinc Limited extended its support to this ambitious programme by committing ₹1.5 crore worth of works in the Rajsamand district. The company formally agreed to carry out these works in alignment with the goals of the Vande Ganga mission.
During the event, Balwant Singh Rathore, IBU CEO of Hindustan Zinc’s Rajpura Dariba Complex, handed over the official letter of commitment to the Hon’ble Chief Minister.
This collaboration marks a key step in strengthening public-private partnerships for sustainable water management and environmental conservation in Rajasthan.
