Aishwarya College Students Visit Lokmitra Blood Bank on World Blood Donor Day

Udaipur – On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, students of Aishwarya College undertook an educational visit to Lokmitra Blood Bank. During the visit, Dr. Mahendra Shrimali provided detailed insights into the importance of blood, the separation methods of its various components, and techniques for blood storage.

Dr. Shrimali emphasized that blood donation is a vital humanitarian act that has the power to save many lives. He explained the role of different blood components such as red blood cells, plasma, and platelets in sustaining human life. He added that there is no artificial substitute for blood; it can only be donated by a human.

On this occasion, College Principal Dr. Ritu Paliwal stated that blood donation is not merely a donation but a gift of life. Often, due to accidents, illnesses, surgeries, or other emergencies, people need blood urgently, and only blood donation can save lives in such situations.

The students understood the significance of blood donation through this visit and pledged to donate blood regularly. Students including Bhoomika Nagda, Mayur Batra, Real Singhvi, Dhruvi, and others were present during the visit.
