#### Dawoodi Bohra Community Marks Eid ul-Adha

The Dawoodi Bohra community in Udaipur celebrated the festival of Eid ul-Adha with immense devotion and joy on June 6, 2025, coinciding with the 10th day of Zil Hajj, the final month of the Islamic calendar. The special Eid prayers were held at 6:00 AM in all community mosques, maintaining the annual tradition with spiritual fervor.

According to community spokesperson and writer Mansoor Odawala, Eid prayers were conducted at prominent locations including Rasoolpura, Wajihpura, Moiyadpura, Chamanpura, Kharol Colony, Khanjipir, and Khanpura. After the prayers, heartfelt duas (prayers) were offered for peace, harmony, and prosperity in the city and the nation.

The sacred ritual of Qurbani (animal sacrifice) was performed by families in their homes during the day, symbolizing devotion and gratitude.

Leading the Eid prayers at different mosques were:

Mulla Haji Pir Ali at Wajihpura,

Janab Mudassar Ali Zariwala at Rasoolpura,

Mulla Haji Sajjad Hussain at Kharol Colony,

Haji Zakir Hussain Habib at Chamanpura,

Janab Aqib Hussain Palanawala at Khanpura,

Haji Abbas Ali Palanawala at Khanjipir, and

Janab Ali Asgar Khilona Wala at Khanpura.

The evening witnessed a communal niyaz (feast) organized at the Jamaatkhana in Boharwadi, where community members came together in unity and reflection, concluding the day on a spiritual and festive note.
