Jaipur – During his visit to the Pink City, Bharatiya Janata Party National President and Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare J.P. Nadda gave several important indications regarding the party’s governance direction and national vision. The visit was marked by his participation in multiple high-profile events and interactions with the leadership of the Rajasthan BJP.

At the Chief Minister’s residence, Mr. Nadda received a traditional Rajasthani welcome by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, setting the tone for a culturally vibrant and politically significant tour. He later addressed a public meeting near Jaipur airport, commending the people's support and BJP's development agenda. He also took part in the Tiranga Yatra held to celebrate the success of Operation Sindoor, which he described as a golden chapter in India’s fight against terrorism.

While addressing the gathering, Mr. Nadda praised Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma for his strong leadership in Rajasthan and lauded the ‘Garbha ki Paathshala’ scheme initiated by the state government on the occasion of the 300th birth anniversary of Ahilyabai Holkar, calling it an innovative initiative for women's health.

At a special ceremony held at the Rajasthan International Centre, Mr. Nadda spoke about the central government's empowerment of women through the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, which ensures 33% reservation for women in Parliament and state assemblies. He further acknowledged the ‘Lado Protsahan Yojana’ and the Garbha ki Paathshala scheme as meaningful steps towards improving the gender ratio and maternal health.

Discussing the transformation in governance since 2014, Nadda stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has redefined Indian politics by replacing blame culture with a mission of inclusive empowerment. "Accountability and responsibility are now the pillars of our political culture," he said, adding that Rajasthan is seeing rapid development under the dual leadership of Modi and Bhajan Lal Sharma.

Highlighting key health initiatives, Mr. Nadda said the Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission has allocated ₹64,000 crore, with ₹3,000 crore earmarked for Rajasthan. Under Ayushman Bharat Health Insurance Scheme, over 63 crore Indians are covered with insurance up to ₹5 lakh per person annually. He noted that 23 AIIMS institutions are currently operational across the country and 23 new medical colleges have been established in Rajasthan alone.

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, while addressing the ceremony, reaffirmed the state government's commitment to the welfare of the poor, women, farmers, and youth under the guidance of PM Modi. He shared that the government aims to make 5,000 villages poverty-free, and over 14 lakh women have been trained under the Lakhpati Didi Yojana, producing 7.8 lakh successful ‘Lakhpati Didis’. Under the Lado Protsahan Yojana, ₹1.5 lakh in savings bonds is being given on the birth of each girl child, with 2.3 lakh girls already benefiting.
