Udaipur will host a grand event under the theme “Viksit Bharat – Viksit Mewar 2047” titled Dialogue 2025 on June 8 at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium. Udaipur MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat unveiled the event poster on Saturday at the District Council office.
Dr. Rawat emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call on the 78th Independence Day for a developed India by 2047 — the centenary of India’s independence — aiming for India to join the league of developed nations. This ambitious vision requires the active participation of every citizen, not just government efforts.
Event coordinator Manoj Joshi shared that the dialogue will begin at 2 PM focusing on multiple development topics, followed by “An Evening Dedicated to the Nation” by Baba Satyanarayan Maurya at 6 PM.

The event seeks to position Mewar as a vital contributor to the vision of a developed India by 2047. Known worldwide for its rich culture, valor, and history, Mewar’s core strengths like minerals, hospitality, agriculture, forests, and handicrafts will be further strengthened. Developed Mewar envisions holistic progress, including heritage conservation, environment, education, health, sanitation, women empowerment, and employment.
The initiative aims to expand digital services in villages, introduce farmers to modern agriculture, link youth to self-employment and startups, and make women self-reliant. Promoting Mewar’s cultural heritage and tourism on a global scale is also critical to this vision.
For this to succeed, effective local implementation of plans, community participation, and sustainable development must be prioritized. An educated, aware, and self-reliant citizenry will help Mewar contribute meaningfully to the dream of a developed India.
