The 21-day Orientation Training Program for newly appointed Assistant Professors at the College of Dairy and Food Technology concluded successfully.
Dean and Director of the Orientation Program, Dr. Lokesh Gupta, informed that this college is the oldest institution in Rajasthan dedicated to Dairy and Food Technology, and since 1982, it has been contributing to the nation by producing highly skilled professionals in the sector. The university, acknowledging the visionary, progressive, and technically advanced approach of the college, entrusted it with the major responsibility of organizing this 21-day orientation program. This responsibility was executed with excellence, thanks to the remarkable contribution of the college’s dedicated staff. On this occasion, Dr. Gupta presented a detailed report of the 21-day program, expressed gratitude to the university, and extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries, including senior officials of the university and other guests.
The Vice-Chancellor of MPUAT, Dr. Ajit Kumar Karnatak, presided over the program. In his presidential address, he welcomed all the newly appointed assistant professors and said that since its inception, the university has gained national recognition by providing employment-oriented education and quality training in agriculture and related fields. With the collaborative efforts of the new faculty, the university aims to establish a global reputation, which is achievable through their youthful energy and commitment.
The event's Chief Guest, Dr. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Vice-Chancellor of MBM University, addressed the newly appointed professors, stating that integration of new technologies with effective teaching is the need of the hour, and modern research should be their priority. These are not only expectations but also the requirements of present-day academia.
Dr. Nikita Wadhawan, Associate Professor and Organizing Secretary of the orientation program, extended a vote of thanks to all the guests and attendees. She stated that the 21-day training has opened new horizons in skill development and leadership, setting new benchmarks for academic training. Throughout the program, domain experts were specially invited for knowledge enhancement, and practical and experiential training was imparted. Participants were given the opportunity to visit various operational units and engage in hands-on activities, enabling them to gain real-world exposure.
