Meeting of Manav Seva Samiti Concludes Successfully
Special donors honoured; CSR registration announced
Udaipur – The meeting of the Executive Committee, Co-opted Members, and Special Invitees of Manav Seva Samiti was successfully held at its office, located in the dining hall of Sahariya Dharamshala, Maharana Bhupal Government Hospital, Udaipur. The proceedings of the meeting commenced with a welcome address by Secretary Shiv Ratan Tiwari, followed by formal approval from the Chair.
The members were appealed to extend greater support towards the ongoing initiative of providing free meals to patients’ attendants at the hospital. In response, Banna Ram Chaudhary and Basant Kabra each announced an annual contribution of ₹1 lakh, while Dr. Anurag Talesara pledged ₹50,000. Dr. Talesara was specially felicitated for contributing more than ₹50,000 annually.
Chairman Prakash Vardia informed that the committee has now obtained CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) registration and is actively working to seek support from various institutions. On this occasion, the unaudited income and expenditure report for the financial year 2024–25 was presented by CA Dilip Kothari.
A vote of thanks was passed for Shrimati Sarla Singhvi Charitable Trust for undertaking the maintenance of refrigerators, coolers, and also for revamping the ambulance and taking full responsibility for its operation. Special service responsibilities were assigned to Shri Kundan Bhatewara and Shri Ravi Sharma.
Media In-Charge Professor Vimal Sharma shared that inspired by the committee’s commitment to service, numerous philanthropists have continued their support. As a result, for the past 30 years—even during the COVID-19 pandemic—the committee has been consistently providing free meals twice a day to patients' attendants at Maharana Bhupal Hospital.
Following the meeting, all members paid floral tribute to the statue of Vaidya Bhagirath Ji Joshi on his death anniversary and observed two minutes of silence in memory of deceased members.
Among those present were Chairman Shri Prakash Vardia, Vice Chairman Shri Bhupal Singh Kothari, members Shri Deepak Singhvi, Smt. Sita Sharma, Shri Ravi Sharma, Advocate Hanuman Sharma, Shri Kundan Bhatewara, Safi Bhai Bohra, Yusuf Ali Bohra, Dr. D.K. Gupta, Dr. Prabha Rani Gupta, Dr. Mahima Birla, Shri Nitesh Surana, Bharat Singh Ji, CA Dilip Kothari, Sunil Vashistha, industrialist Shri Parmanand Patidar, Banna Ram Chaudhary, and Kamal Bhandari.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Vice Chairman Shri Bhupal Singh Kothari, followed by a self-service meal.
